Every paper submitted to WriteAtHome is returned with positive and constructive feedback, so that every writing experience is a learning experience. Our writing coaches are all experienced teachers, writers and editors eager to share their expertise and love for the written word.

* A common sense approach.  We believe what athletes and musicians have always understood--that practice makes perfect--but not practice in isolation. Growth in any craft comes with practice under the instruction of experts who encourage our successes and correct our mistakes. At WriteAtHome, students complete a writing assignment every week and receive detailed feedback from their personal writing coach. 

* Concern for the writing process. Final results matter, but we believe that effectively teaching writing means focusing on the process. Every WriteAtHome assignment is written and submitted in stages. Our writing coaches come alongside students through the process, directing, suggesting, encouraging and critiquing. The result is not only a quality final draft, but steadily growing skill in the process of writing.
